News » knitted burnt-out fabrics

New sort of knitted fabrics devised for the production of underwear, informally called “burnt-outs” or “burnt knit”, have become the hit of the season. Their characteristic feature is openwork clearances of various shapes and colours which to some extent condition the application of a given fabric type.

Monochrome clearances in colours typical for underwear make a perfect raw material for modern lingerie, whereas multicoloured versions enable producers to create items being on the borderline between lingerie and proper clothing, i.e. close-fitting shirts, tops, etc.

Raw-material composition of these underwear fabrics, enriched with elastic yarns, increases the usability of end products, since in this case an ideal fit to the figure is the main consideration for everyday comfort. Omnipresent clearances have long become the characteristic distinguishing feature sought by more courageous women, whereas the high quality of the knitted fabrics in question, including their colour retention and resistance to shrinkage, enable designers and producers to create products which fulfil all women’s needs in terms of attractive lingerie.

We offer knitted fabrics which include the best features of the raw materials applied: durability, softness, comfort, easy maintenance, fashionable look and reasonable price which may easily compete with imported items. New knitted fabrics are being designed to produce more attractive lingerie. Knitted burnt-out fabrics are a model example of this attitude.
